One of our most beloved games in the seasons before the pandemic was our Sunday morning family pickup ⚽️. Folks would anxiously prowl our website to book one of the 21 spots. Three teams of 7 players rotating onto the field for 6-minute games (goal-fests). I would try to describe the joyful vibe to folks … “kinda like backyard soccer – just on a really nice backyard.” Each game usually ended with a “game-face” photo.
Well … it is returning this winter as backyard ⚽️ fc in its early Sunday spot – as well as on Thursdays after-school. Same retro 2012 game price – $10 ($5 for kids 12&under) but without the game-by-game jockeying for a spot. More like 5-game season-passes ($50, $25 for kids 12&under).
Just as important – as kids (young and old) learning to love the game – is making a difference where we live.
ALL season-pass proceeds will be donated to improve food security in our area.
